Session Abstract
Kenya is actively modernising its labour market through the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), which drives job creation and grassroots growth across five core pillars: agriculture, MSMEs, affordable housing, Universal Health Coverage, and the digital and creative economies. This framework aligns with Competency-Based Education (CBE) to nurture student potential, while simultaneously supporting global and regional benchmarks like the UN SDGs and the African Union's Continental Education Strategy for Africa (CESA). Consequently, this timely convening on transitioning from classroom competency to workforce impact is vital.
